/ PRBuzz / April 26, 2011 - - Mortgage rates tend to follow the 10-Year bond, when the 10-bond drops mortgage rates follow. As instability in the Middle East expands and oil prices go up the 10 bond will go down as history shows us. The end result will be that mortgage rates will temporarily dip in the coming days.

Texas Mortgage Expert Samuel Morales says,

"I am expecting an increase in mortgage loan originations that will coincide with lower mortgage rates. If you are looking to refinance your mortgage do it now. In the end we will see oil prices possibly drop dramatically causing mortgage rates to go back up possibly to the 5.5 to 6% range".

Morales also states,

"30 Year Fixed Mortgage rates could drop back down to just above 4.5% but will then jump back up on a time frame dependent on the oil market, instability in the mid east and demand for oil here in the states".
