Qualified borrower - Rate based on $150K loan amount and 4.3% APR

Why are rates so low?  Unrest in in the middle east is causing investors to look for more stable financial products, ie... bonds.  As a result the 10 year bond has dropped.  In addition the FEDs have kept their rate close to 0%.  However, it is yet to be determined if the FED will once again fund the $600 billion program to invest in mortgage backed securities in order to keep rates low.  If they do not we will see rates increase within the next 3 months, if they do rates will stay low for the awhile.

On a side note, if you are looking to refinance or to to purchase a home, I'm sitting here waiting for your call.
